Career History
I specialise in family law, having trained at a top regional law firm and qualifying in 2010. In 2014 I moved to a firm in Buckingham as head of their Family Department before joining Neves in December 2021.
Experience and Expertise in Family Law
I am a specialist Family Law Solicitor with nearly two decades of family law experience helping individuals and families navigate Divorce, separation and complex children matters with clarity and confidence.
Having qualified in 2010 after training at a leading regional law firm, I went on to head a Family Department in Buckingham before joining Neves in 2021. I now advise clients across a broad range of family issues with a focus on achieving practical, constructive outcomes during what is often a highly emotional time.
I have experience in sensitive and complex matters, particularly situations involving high conflict or controlling relationships where a careful and strategic approach is essential.

How I work with clients
I understand that Family Law matters are not just legal issues, they are deeply personal. My approach is:
- To be clear and pragmatic – cutting through complexity to focus on what matters.
- Being constructive where possible – helping clients avoid unnecessary conflict whilst aiming to keep their legal costs down.
- I am firm when needed – protecting your interests in more challenging cases.
Whether you are dealing with Divorce, arrangements for children or financial disputes, I aim to guide you towards a resolution that allows you to move forward with confidence.
What makes me human
I am a parent to two children so I understand first hand the challenges of balancing family life. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, friends, reading and supporting charitable causes. I have previously undertaken pro-bono work with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, assisting individuals with family law issues.

Real Client Stories
How I can help your family move forward
Every family situation is different. Some of my clients want to keep things amicable from the outset, while others need firm decisive action to resolve more complex or urgent issues. The examples in the Family Law Case Summaries below reflect how I work to provide clear advice, practical solutions and focus on achieving the best possible outcome for you and your family.
Non Court Dispute Resolution (NCDR) offers various methods for resolving disputes outside of the Court process during a divorce or separation. These methods are often less adversarial, more cost effective and quicker than litigation. Below is an overview of the main NCDR options available to clients in family matters, including how they work.
