Fixed Fee meetings with our Divorce Lawyers

Deciding whether to divorce or separate is an incredibly significant step. It’s not a decision anyone takes lightly, nor is it something people expect to face when planning their future. We understand how overwhelming this stage can feel and how important it is to have clarity before moving forward.

To support you in understanding your options and deciding on the right path, Neves Family Law Solicitors offer a Fixed Fee First Meeting. This dedicated session gives you the time and space to talk through your situation with a specialist family lawyer, ask questions and receive clear guidance on what the next steps could look like. Our aim is to help you feel informed, supported and more confident about the decisions ahead.

Contacting Us

When you reach out to us, your initial call or email will be handled directly by one of our family solicitors—not by a support team member. This allows the solicitor to gain an early understanding of your situation and ensures they are fully prepared for your fixed-fee meeting.

What happens next?

Our Fixed Fee First Meeting provides you with a full hour with a specialist family lawyer. During this session, we’ll begin by inviting you to outline the background, your priorities, and any concerns you may have. We appreciate that every individual’s circumstances are unique, and we approach each meeting with that in mind. You can use this time to ask questions, gather guidance, and hopefully leave feeling more reassured about the road ahead.

Know your options

During the meeting, we will clearly explain your legal position and outline the options available to you. We understand that speaking to a solicitor can feel like a significant step, and many people simply want clarity about what they can do next.

In a small number of cases, the issue you contact us about may not be suitable for a fixed fee meeting. If this applies to your situation, our family team will inform you during the initial consultation and guide you towards the most appropriate next steps.

Meet your solicitor

A fixed fee meeting is also an opportunity to meet the solicitor who would be dealing with your case. It is important that you feel comfortable with your lawyer and that you are confident that they understand your goals and approach.

How much does it cost?

Our fixed fee for an initial 60 minute meeting costs £150 plus VAT. If you feel that a fixed fee meeting in person or by video might help you, then please get in touch with the Family team by calling 0330 0945 500 , emailing family@neves.co.uk or complete the form below and we'll get back to you.
